Προσπερνώντας την είσοδο της Μονής, και συνεχίζοντας βόρεια σε εµφανές µονοπάτι και σύντοµα σε µικρό χωµατόδροµο, έχοντας δεξιά πανοραµική θέα προς το Αιγαίο, και αριστερά απότοµες πλαγιές, η διαδροµή καταλήγει σε διάσελο, απ’ όπου ένας µικρός χωµατόδροµος οδηγεί σε απόκρημνη περιοχή, στο εξωκκλήσι της Παναγίας της Θεοσκέπαστης, φωλιασμένο μέσα σε βραχώδη προεξοχή. Σε μικρή απόσταση προς τα ανατολικά, ο Άγιος Ιωάννης ο Χρυσόστομος στα Κάψαλα, παλαιότερα αυτόνομη Μονή σήμερα Μετόχι της Μονής Χοζοβιωτίσσης, ενώ προς τα βόρεια το εκκλησάκι του Αι-Γιώργη.
Οι σωζόμενες σκήτες μέσα στα ρήγματα των βράχων, κοντά στη βραχοσπηλιά της Παναγίας Θεοσκέπαστης, στην ευρύτερη περιοχή της Ιεράς Μονής Χοζοβιωτίσσης, αποτελούν μαρτυρία για τη διασπορά μοναχών κατά το παρελθόν, στην εξαιρετικά δύσβατη και απόκρημνη τοποθεσία των Καψάλων.
